Uckfield Music Club announces summer concertsThe Uckfield Music Club has announced its programme of summer concerts for 2011.

Each concert will be held at St Margaret’s Church, Buxted Park and begin at 7.30pm.

First up, on Thursday 19th May, is a performance from Australian pianist Jayson Gillham. Jayson will perform music by Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Brahms and Listz.

The following month, on Thursday 16th June, festival-regulars the Guillami String Quartet, will be performing music by Haydn, Elgar and Beethoven.

Finally, as part of the 2011 Uckfield Festival, the London Conchord Ensemble will perform Mozart’s oboe quartet and Faure’s C minor piano quartet on Thursday 21st July.

Tickets are available for all three concerts, priced at £24. Single tickets are also available on the door for £12 per adult. Students can attend for just £2, and children accompanied by an adult get in for free.
